Lunations and Long Term Aspects

The Full Moon on the 9th occurs in Libra, your 10th House of career and reputation. This is an area near and dear to a Cappy's heart as well as the zodiacal house that Capricorn rules, so this lunation should have significant meaning for you this month. Note that lunations and eclipses have their own personality, based on the other aspects that accompany them. One of the key elements in this one is an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential that involves the Sun, Moon, and Jupiter, with Jupiter, who's in your 2nd House of finance, possessions, and pleasures the pivot point for whatever decision the Full Moon is presenting. Jupiter tends to expand whatever he touches, which is typically good, though sometimes it can go the opposite way if he inspires over-confidence or exaggeration. The aspects involved this time, however, are positive and present an opportunity of some sort related to your 4th House of home environment based on one of your heart-felt desires.

This is not to say that all will go as smooth as glass, however, as there are some adjustments and challenges in the mix as well. Pluto is in your 1st House of personality and if you were born on Christmas Day (with Christmas Eve and Boxing Day in there as well) you are undoubtedly feeling it the strongest. Your personal sense of power and control is being activated and tutored with various personal transformations in work. You're getting to know yourself better than ever before and will be a different person, both in thought and appearance, when all is said and done. As far as this lunation is concerned, Pluto is squared off with Venus in your 4th House of home environment and thus stirring up some sort of conflict in that area. This will require that you take a good hard look at something to do with your home or the people in it, perhaps being forced to see something you'd much prefer to ignore.

A change of course as it relates to your career is possible, with the energy you need to move forward provided as well, but there are going to be a bunch of little annoyances to deal with along the way. Pluto is in cahoots with Mercury in a positive way over there in your 5th House of creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation, however, so even though he may be forcing you to deal with a few unpleasantries, he's also helping you to unearth a creative solution. These events will be reinforced and plotted out through the other transits this month which are described below.

The New Moon on the 24th is in Taurus, your 5th House, which includes all possible expressions of who and what you are, including your children, creative endeavors, lovers, what you find entertaining, and also speculation. The character of this lunation indicates a few challenges are on the way that will relate to your 2nd House of finance, possessions, and pleasures. It behooves you to confirm any information you receive at this time to assure it's accurate, not allow yourself to be taken advantage of in any manner, and don't accept any exaggerated claims from others or be over-confident yourself. On the positive side, innovative solutions are available as well as a few surprises, some good, some not. Pluto is directing lots of transformational energy your way, but he's also stirring up a few things in your home environment that relate to love and/or money. Expect some resistance to your plans, which you'll be anxious to implement, and a few frustrations, but overall the results should ultimately be positive.

Short Term Aspects

The first week of April expect to encounter a Catch-22 situation that requires some adjustments to your current status with regard to your home environment. This could involve either those close to you or finances in some way. This may present some opportunities to expand your financial interests, so be alert for what they might be and maintain an open mind. There will be a tug-o-war regarding the information you're receiving versus your expectations, or alternately your drive to move forward with something versus other issues that relate to your 9th House of long-distance travel, relocation, legal matters such as contracts, higher education, or beliefs. This involves your Sign Ruler, Saturn, who's camped out in retrograde in your 9th House, so this has significant bearing on you and will institute a few delays that could last until near the end of May and require some more adjustments that involve your home environment in some way. This sounds a lot like buying or selling a house, considering a trip abroad, or something related to school or a legal issue.

Right around April 7 news related to home is going to fire up your imagination in some manner that relates to your finances or possessions. You may encounter a brainstorm on how to improve your home or benefit from it financially. This could even involve an idea or opportunity for how you could make some money from home. Just make sure that it's realistic before putting too much behind it. Mercury moves into Taurus on the 9th, bringing a boost to your creativity and communications with your children or related to romance. This is also the time of that Full Moon, so expect that to start taking effect. On the 11th Venus moves into Pisces, which should further enhance your thoughts and ideas related to love and money, two of everyone's favorite things. When she trines Pluto on the 11th, this will infuse some transformational energy into the mix and possibly provide some deep insights into these areas that you'd previously missed.

On April 15th, give or take a day or two, expect the unexpected, in either your physical or mental neighborhood. This could be some sort of surprise, a disruption, or simply a significant brainstorm that relates to your situation, whatever it might be. More opportunities in the financial area as it relates to your home are likely to appear, but just make sure you're not chasing a rainbow. Up until April 16th, Venus has been retrograde, which tends to stir up anything you've been neglecting for a while, but today she returns to direct motion, so whatever this issue may be should start to surface. A few days later creative ideas will be yours for the asking when it comes to that major issue you're dealing with over in your 9th House. On the 19th the Sun moves into Taurus, bringing even more emphasis to your creativity, ego, and self-expression. If you think about it, you'll probably be able to note that May is typically a good month for you when it comes to these types of activities, which can also involve your children and love interests.

A burst of mental activity regarding your finances and where you want to go in the future will occur on the 21st, with activities picking up at home a day later. Your creative efforts may hit a wall financially on the 23rd, particularly if you've over-inflated their potential. At that same time, however, you'll have various other insights coming your way that will help you get on the right track. The New Moon occurs on the 24th and that same day Venus goes into your 4th House of home environment, which should bring some good fortune your way, in spite of the various challenges that New Moon is delivering.

Clearly there is a lot going on this month that involves your home while Saturn continues to plug away in our 9th House of legal matters, academia, relocation, and beliefs. Changes are in work, which will occupy much of your mental and physical energy this month. You may not see anything to completion until Saturn goes direct next month, but you should definitely be able to get a good idea of where things are headed.
