NEW MOON

The New Moon on 2 January was in Capricorn. It trined Uranus, suggesting something new is coming that is likely to be surprising and perhaps sudden. The semisextile to Saturn nextdoor in Aquarius implies it will cause friction of some sort, most likely in the form of resistance to this change based on the long-term square between Saturn and Uranus. Mercury has barely gone into Aquarius where he is in semisextile with Jupiter, who recently entered Pisces. This looks like more friction or possible annoyances, perhaps because the news of whatever this change might be causes confusion. Venus retrograde is sextile Neptune which has interesting implications. As noted previously here and in the daily astrocasts, Venus retrograde tends to bring about the fall from grace of a public figure. This sextile implies this will be a revelation of past deception. The Earth is in the process of passing Venus in her orbit, which is what causes the illusion that she is moving backwards. During that time she will be hidden in the glare of the Sun, after which she will become the morning star when she becomes visible again. In many cultures Venus as the morning star is a harbinger of war or conflict where when she's the evening star she's the goddess of love. Considering the fact that we're living in interesting times already this will be very interesting to watch unfold.

Mars is sextile Saturn from Sagittarius, suggesting action related to some edict from those in authority. We've certainly seen our share of that crap this year and this implies more of the same. In concert with Venus retrograde, this becomes even more interesting. Mars is in wide but viable square to Neptune, suggesting this will also relate to COVID but meet with considerable resistance.  The New Moon opposes the asteroid, Wuhan, which is retrograde in Cancer while Saturn is quincunx that obnoxious entity, which suggests an change of direction in policy. I think that people have had it to the eyeballs with this plandemic, especially as more facts continue to emerge. As truth comes out through authorities such as Dr. Robert Malone, who invented mRNA vaccines, or at least tries to come out considering he was permanently banned from various social media platforms, you can expect various sparks to fly. If you are unaware of this, check video platforms such as Bitchute and Brighteon, which seem to understand the concept of the First Amendment, which relates to free speech, unlike too many others.

MERCURY RETROGRADE

Yes, folks, it's that time again already for Mercury to go retrograde. He stations on 14 January and continues doing the backstroke until 4 February. As always this is a time to rethink, redo, reconsider, and revise as opposed to starting something new. Doing so is likely to not come to fruition. The station occurs in partile square with Uranus, suggesting the sudden revision or change in information. Mercury is conjunct Saturn, but is stopping short of exactitude while the Gemini Moon trines them both, suggesting information with an emotional element. The Moon is in partile quincunx with retrograde Venus, indicating this could relate to whomever an angry goddess of war is targeting. Wuhan and Chiron are in partile square indicating conflict. As you may or may not recall, Chiron is "the wounded healer." His general interpretation as far as natal charts are concerned is to indicate wounds and/or disappointments that never entirely heal. His admonition is to help others through similar trials and tribulations, such as that found in the philosophy of self-help groups. This could also relate to the suppression of alternate opinions from qualified doctors and researchers with regard to the narrative we've being provided.

FULL MOON

The Full Moon on 17 January is in Cancer. The Sun is conjunct Pluto, the Moon opposing, which implies exposing corruption. The Moon is quincunx Mars, indicating a change of course or direction, even has Mars continues to square Neptune indicating philosophical clashes with Neptune's natural delusions and deception. Venus retrograde is semisextile Saturn, which points toward that public figure being exposed as Mars is semisextile Pluto, indicating it will bring friction. Mercury and Saturn continue to square Uranus, resisting change, but Venus is promoting it, as if saying, "Enough is enough." As always a full moon indicates an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase.

URANUS STATIONS DIRECT

Uranus stations direct on 18 January. He is always full of disruptions and surprises which are even more startling when he's retrograde. Maybe when he goes direct we'll see a few changes that bring more stability. The square with Saturn is going to continue for a while, nonetheless, but remember that Mercury is retrograde at this time and also squaring Uranus, so rethinking or reconsidering the past is a factor here. Venus retrograde is trining Uranus, as if her two-cents' worth is also key. Pluto and the Sun are still conjunct, also implying the exposure of corruption. The Leo Moon is quincunx Jupiter in Pisces, suggesting a change of direction that could relate to enlightenment at a personal level. The Moon is opposing Saturn and Mercury retrograde, bringing an emotional component.

VENUS STATIONS DIRECT

Venus stations direct on 29 January. It's interesting that she is trining Uranus within a quarter of a degree of being exact. If whatever she's been up to hasn't come out by now, it's likely now's the time and that it will not only be a surprise but bring about sudden change or a major disruption. The Sun by this time is in Aquarius and squaring Uranus, showing conflict. Mars has gone into Capricorn, where he's exalted, and sextile Jupiter, which points toward the opportunity for massive enlightenment if you put some effort behind it. The Moon at 29:46 Sagittarius is anaretic and loaded with philosophical energy. The lunar nodes have changed signs, suggesting a directional change as well. Wuhan is at 06:37 Cancer and still retrograde while being trined by Jupiter in Pisces. This looks as if it's likely to bring out some huge insights.

NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS

This month has two New Moons, at least as far as those of us in the U.S. Central Time Zone are concerned with the lunation occurring 1 February eastward of there. This will not be considered a second new moon officially since that is based upon Greenwich Mean Time. This lunation is 12:20 Aquarius while the last one was 12:20 Capricorn. Thus, those of you who may have a planet or luminary at that degree are getting a one-two punch of newness in two difference houses, especially if your birthday is 1 February. The lunation is conjunct Saturn with all three squaring Uranus, thus resisting change or creating conflict, while Venus and Mars trine Uranus pushing for the opposite along with a sextile from Jupiter in Pisces, which indicates an impressive opportunity for a revelation. In other words, Uranus is getting slammed with quite an energy mix of pros and cons. Mercury RX is conjunct Pluto and sextile Neptune, still rethinking and working with Pluto to perhaps dig out something previously missed or deliberately hidden. Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus are in a somewhat sloppy but viable sextile pattern, indicating positive energy that hints at a favorable surprise.  

This month looks as if things are going to break loose in a variety of sectors after being stuck for what feels like forever. As a new year unfolds, let's hope that things will improve and as Mulder and Skully so famously declared, "The truth is out there."
